A climber's friction belt, refined.
The ring belt traces back to 1980s rock climbers who needed a belt they could loosen over a harness and cinch back down on the wall. The design never went out of style because it does one thing better than any buckled belt: it adjusts to exactly the length you need, in any increment. The Ti-Ring Belt carries that pattern forward with instrument-grade materials and small-batch American construction.
Built around two CNC-machined titanium rings.
Most ring belts use stamped steel or cast aluminum hardware. Ours are CNC-milled from titanium: lighter, stronger, and fully corrosion-proof in sweat, salt, and rain. The twin-ring geometry creates the friction lock that holds the belt in position under load and releases cleanly with a pull on the tab.
Lighter weight MILSPEC tracer rigger's webbing.
We spec'ed a custom-milled, lighter weight variant of MILSPEC tracer rigger's webbing. It is rigid enough to support EDC gear without rolling, soft enough to wear over technical shorts, and specified to hold its hand through years of wash cycles. A nylon webbing tab and hook-and-loop keeper secure the tail.
Infinite micro-adjustment, no holes.
Punch-hole belts give you roughly 1-inch jumps. Ratchet belts lock to a fixed tooth. The Ti-Ring design gives you every millimeter in between, which matters after a long hike, a heavy meal, or a cold-weather layering change. Loosen on the trail, tighten at the table.
